Alliance Chorale Concert

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale’s Concert, “Sounds of Christmas,” will be held December 4 at 3 p.m. in Brush Performance Hall in the Giese Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Mount Union campus.

The Chorale is under the direction of Shawna K. Hinkle with accompanist Amy Haines. Special guests will be the Dover High School Treble Choir.

The concert will feature “Breath of Heaven” by Courtney, “Love Has Come” by Highben, “White Christmas” by Berlin, “Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day” by Gardner, “The Rose” by Gjeilo, “Al Shlosha D'varim” by Naplan, “Here's One” by Burroughs, “Betelehemu” by Beck, “Beautiful December” by Bernon, “Candlelight Carol” by John Rutter and an audience Holiday sing-along.

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale includes a combination of community members and University of Mount Union students and faculty. The chorale has performed together since 1982.

Tickets are $8 and free for all students. They can be purchased through the University of Mount Union Box Office at mountunion.edu/boxoffice, by phone at (330) 821-2565 or in-person Monday-Friday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. when classes are in session and one hour prior to the start of the performance.
