The University of Mount Union will kick off this year’s Lecture Series with the Heffern Lecture on September 8 at 7 p.m. in Brush Performance Hall. This year’s Heffern Lecture is Michael Crawford.

Crawford is the Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer for Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company. An Ohio native, he earned his bachelor’s from Bowling Green State University and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Prior to leading Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company, Crawford worked with the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Company. He started as President of Asia Pacific and went on to become Global President of Portfolio Management. Crawford also spent almost 25 years at the Walt Disney Company. He held roles as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort and President of Shanghai’s Walt Disney Holdings Company.
