The University of Mount Union held Meet the Candidates night Tuesday, Oct. 1 sponsored by the Regula Center.

Members of the community will have the opportunity to meet constituents running for multiple positions. Those in attendance will include: David Smith for Alliance Mayor; Alan Andreani for Alliance Mayor; David Thomas, Brian Simeone, Kristopher Bugara, Andrew Grove and Phillip Mastroianni for Alliance City Council at Large; Shelia Cherry for Alliance City Council Ward 1; Cindy King for Alliance City Council Ward 2; Frank Minear for Alliance City Council Ward 3; Jim Edwards for Alliance City Council Ward 4; Thomas Hippely Jr., Josh Hagan, Mark Ryan and Danielle Stevens for Marlington School Board and Jacqueline DeGarmo for Stark County Educational Service Center Board.
