Why Mount Union?

I'm new to Mount Union, but I can already tell that the faculty and staff care about their students and their progress. Again, I am new to Mount Union, but I think we have a great nursing department. The faculty and staff are extremely dedicated to our students and their success and everyone is willing to go above and beyond for students.

Favorite Part of Your Job?

I became a nurse to serve others, and I became an educator because it's where I felt I belonged. I also think it's important to help shape the future of nursing by providing students the best foundation possible. I have implemented collaborative learning and I have successfully flipped the classroom. [My favorite part of being a nursing professor is] seeing the "light bulb" go off over students' heads when they grasp a complex subject for the first time.
