Offensive Security Engineer II

I stay connected with Mount Union through Esports, serving as a coach for the program!

Education

B.S., Multi-Platform Software Development

Hometown

Hermitage, PA

A Skillset based on Real-World Experience

I chose Mount Union for Ken Smith and now, Ben Sina's Cybersecurity program! Internships gained during my time at Mount Union through the cybersecurity department's connections helped me land a job when I graduated and prepared me to hit the ground running on day one (1) of both my internships and my full time job after graduating. The skills I gained through my major have significantly helped me as a professional; I cannot complain about the job I do. I love everything about it as I implement my knowledge of technology on a daily basis.

Student Life and Career Readiness at UMU

As a student at Mount Union I was a part of the best fraternity on campus - Phi Kappa Tau, and of the esports program! [Not only did I find a balance] to network and land internship positions, but I built lasting friendships with people whose interests are similar to mine. I stay connected with Mount Union through Esports, serving as a coach for the program!

Cybersecurity Career Goals

As an Offensive Security Engineer at Praetorian, I conduct various security assessments for clients in different industries, such as red and purple team engagements, network and web application penetration tests, phishing and vishing assessments, and static code reviews. I also provide detailed and thorough risk remediation recommendations to help clients improve their security posture and resilience. This is my dream job, getting paid to hack stuff for a living - doesn't really get much better than that! However, I eventually would like a "seat at the table" - an executive position at an offensive security consulting firm.
