Advice to Prospective Students

To students looking at colleges and universities, make sure you look at the resources you get for your major. While on your tour ask to meet some staff and see how they welcome you and carry themselves. Always keep an open mind as well.

Career Goals

I want to become a primary education teacher. Mount Union is preparing me for that by allowing me to practice with mock interviews and helping create my teacher portfolio. In addition, I have had the opportunity to observe many different classroom styles. Mount allows education majors many, many field hours, and we exceed our requirements before preclinical and student teaching. They allow us to see and get a feel for different school districts.
