A Broader Mindset
Attending the MBA program has impacted and influenced my career significantly. It has enhanced my overall understanding of business and helped me to gain knowledge in areas to where I was not familiar or had limited exposure in my career. The coursework pushed me outside of my comfort zone and required me to think critically and holistically and to consider alternative options to solve problems. Also, going back to school reignited my thirst for knowledge and a newfound drive to advance my career and work towards completing my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Forever A Purple Raider
I attended Mount Union for my undergraduate degree and coming back to complete my MBA made perfect sense. Though the program is online, it felt, in a way, like coming home. I considered a couple of other programs, but choosing Mount’s program was the right choice. I love the flexibility of the online asynchronous format of the courses, which allowed me to continue working full-time and comfortably fit schoolwork into my schedule. The professors are great and very supportive. I always felt that the professors were helpful and wanted me to succeed in the program. Finally, I cannot say enough about the incredible value of the program. Mount is a highly respected university and the MBA program is competitively priced.
Enhancing Career Skillset
As a Senior Project Manager, I am responsible for the organization, planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring the expected results are on time, on budget, and within the defined scope. The knowledge I obtained in the MBA program complemented the skills needed to be a great project manager and gave me the skills to be more adaptive in my role thereby increasing my competitive edge. Its curriculum is both challenging and engaging. I would love to advance in my career as a project manager and in the future move to a role such as a Director of Project Management and then VP of Project Management.
