Habitat for Humanity

The purpose of this organization shall be to serve the University of Mount Union and the greater community of Alliance by providing students with the opportunity to help low-income families in the area by building affordable housing with them, and by educating the campus community about the positive effects that volunteering for Habitat for Humanity provides.

Relay For Life

The Mount Union Relay For Life program is an American Cancer Society signature program. Each year, student organizations form teams to raise money and walk toward a cure. To learn more about the American Cancer Society, visit www.acs.org. Mount Union’s Relay typically occurs in April each school year.

Up ‘Til Dawn

Up ‘Til Dawn is a signature fundraiser for the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee. St. Jude’s pledge is to provide care for children, no matter their ability to pay for treatment. The Up ‘Til Dawn letter-writing campaign occurs each November, and a celebration of the program occurs the following February. We encourage students to form a team to write letters and stay Up ‘Til Dawn! For more information, visit www.stjudes.org.
