Mount Union Family
As a student my favorite part about living on campus was walking around and having multiple people notice me and greet me. That made me feel like I was a part of UMU’s family. My favorite part of student life, though, was the relationships I built with peers, faculty, and staff. Those relationships led to my current career in higher education.
Human Resource Management
I chose human resource management as my major because I wanted to pursue a career that would help me provide opportunities for others and I feel like I could achieve that goal with HR management. I believe that the Integrative Core made me a better communicator. My favorite experience at Mount Union as a student was the meaningful conversations that I would have with my advisor, Marci Muckleroy. Her advice and wisdom gave me so much knowledge that I hope to use to model my own professional career. Mount Union also offers many hands-on group projects that allow you to gain real-world experiences.
After Mount Union
After graduating from Mount Union, I enrolled in the Master of Educational Leadership at Mount Union. I will graduate this May 2023. Recently, I accepted the position for Director of Transfer and Readmission here at UMU.
