Teaching at Mount
I have always had an interest in learning how the human body functions. As a student, my favorite course was anatomy and physiology and now I teach it! I enjoyed my time at Mount Union as a student and loved how my professors motivated me to learn. I had the opportunity to work closely with my professors on research projects as an undergraduate, which motivated me to apply to graduate school. As I began my career in teaching, I knew I wanted to provide my students with the same positive learning outcome, and I couldn't think of a better place to share my experience.

About the Biology Program
The biology major has two concentrations, biomedical and applied bioscience. This allows students to tailor their degree according to their interest or career path. Students who major in either biology concentration have an opportunity to work closely with department faculty on research projects, providing a hands-on learning experience.
