Men's Basketball Championship
The Purple Raider men’s basketball team is headed to the championship game for the first time in history!
The University of Mount Union will travel to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN to take on Christopher Newport University (VA) in the championship game of the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Playoffs.
TICKET INFORMATION
We will be the visiting team for the championship game. Our sections will be 212 and 214 behind the Mount Union bench, and the ticket cost is $15 plus processing fees when using the access code below. Below is a link for accessing the Ticketmaster site that will be active at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 17 that will allow you to purchase tickets in these designated sections. The code to be entered for unlocking this section is “MUCAW.”
You will select “See Tickets” for the Saturday game. Once you select “See Tickets,” there will be an unlock button in the top right corner. Click that and this is where you enter the code.
Tickets can be purchased at the door using cash or credit card, but pricing will be higher than using the code for advanced purchases. Open sections will be available across the court from the team bench.
RED-EYE BUS
The cost of the red-eye bus trip will be $75 for alumni/friends/community members and $25 for Mount Union students. Registration will be available on Friday, March 17 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The bus will depart at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 from Mount Union and return immediately following the game.
2023 CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS
The 2023 Championship game is hosted by Visit Fort Wayne, Manchester University, and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

PRE-GAME AND POST-GAME CELEBRATIONS
Alumni and friends who are traveling to Fort Wayne, Indiana are invited to join us at a pre-game celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Lounge located within the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Free food and goodies are available (while supplies last!). A cash bar will be available.

GAME COVERAGE
Mount Union will broadcast the games on the radio on WRMU-FM 91.1 Alliance. The game will also be broadcasted on WDPN-AM 1310 Alliance. The National Championship game will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.
