M Club Nomination Form

Eligibility Requirements

1. Hall of Fame Inductee

   Athletes must have earned a degree from Mount Union and be a member of M Club. Athletes are eligible for selection 15 years after graduation or 15 years after their last athletic competition. As the nominator, your contact information is required. Consideration will be based solely on Mount Union varsity participation, preceding graduation. Coaches and administrators must have served Mount Union, on the athletic staff or in the Office of Intercollegiate Athletics, for a least five years prior to consideration, and must have left the University. To be selected for induction, “the record of the proposed inductee must be exemplary in both performance and in both performance and in character. There must be no question as to the deserving qualities that the inductee possesses." In order for someone to be selected for the Hall of Fame, they must be nominated by an M Club member.

2. Duke Barret Award of Excellence

   The M Club Duke Barret Award of Excellence shall be presented to a member of M Club, in recognition for career experiences or activities that have brought honor and recognition to the individual and, in turn, Mount Union after graduation. This award is the highest honor, outside of induction to the M Club Hall of Fame, which M Club may bestow upon an individual member.

3. Hugh Jae Award

   This award is presented to an M Club member that has distinguished him/herself in service to the M Club.

4. Honorary M Club

   This represents the highest honor, which may be bestowed upon an individual who is not a member of M Club. The individual need not have attended Mount Union. This award is given to an individual who, through their efforts, have given exemplary service and/or support to Mount Union athletics. This award will give the individual membership into M Club. For an individual whose activities have been deemed deserving of M Club membership.
