Intervention specialist major

I chose intervention specialist as my major so I can make an impact on kids’ lives who can get the help they need and may not have the opportunity to get it elsewhere.

Finding Mount

I heard many good things about Mount Union from family friends and friends that went here. I decided to check it out for soccer, but it fell through. I originally chose another school, but for spring semester transferred to Mount Union because it just felt like home. It’s a small college, and everyone knows each other. Students all say hi, and hold doors open for each other. The great faculty that Mount Union has treat you like their own children to guide and help you to get where you want to be.

Studying for a Career as an Intervention Specialist

I chose intervention specialist as my major so I can make an impact on kids’ lives who can get the help they need and may not have the opportunity to get it elsewhere. My point in life is to make impacts on early childhood students, young adults and even adults. It’s important to always remember, it’s not about the money it’s about the people you touch and guide. My goal is to impact other’s lives in a positive way. I want to know that I made someone smile today or helped them catch a ball, it’s the little things that count.

Tips for Future Purple Raiders

Make sure that you look at many different size colleges, and also the location of them, inner city schools, schools in the country, and even schools in other states, to see what really fits you. You have to remember this is your new home for the next 4-5 years.
