ALLIANCE- Today, Monday, June 17, 2024, is National Mascot Day, and of course, we are celebrating our favorite friendly bird. To commemorate National Mascot Day, we asked MUcaw what he liked most about campus. Not only did he mention the quiet and beautiful atmosphere, but MUcaw enjoys interacting with the people part of the campus community.

MUcaw specifically enjoys welcoming new Raiders to the Mount Union family during campus events. He likes getting to know friends who visit campus, like when he met with visiting Hiroshima Jogakuin Japanese students this past spring semester.

There are many campus events that have formed part of MUcaw’s trajectory at Mount Union, but without a doubt his favorite is cheering on the football team alongside students to lead them to championships.
