WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-13) donned a purple University of Mount Union Baseball jersey for the 57^th annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity.

“I am turning in my Democratic blue to wear Mount Union purple. I’m hoping Mount Union’s athletic excellence, and record 13 National Championships on the football field, can carry over to the baseball diamond,” said Congressman Ryan. “Whether it’s fielding hard grounders or line drives, defending the hot corner, or making long throws to first, I’m counting on riding the athletic wave Mount Union is currently experiencing to make me a better player. This university has a long history of being champions, and I look forward to representing their greatness during this year’s Congressional Baseball Game for Charity.”
