Mount Union Concert Choir to Perform with the Canton Symphony Chorus April 26
April 03, 2025CANTON — Members of the University of Mount Union Concert Choir will have the opportunity to perform with the Canton Symphony Orchestra Chorus (CSO) on Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.
The performance, part of CSO’s “Masterworks” series, is titled “Masterworks VII: Voyage on the High Seas.” The Mount Union Concert Choir will sing alongside CSO for a rendition of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 1, “A Sea Symphony,” following CSO’s performance of Ina Boyle’s “A Sea Poem.”
“A Sea Symphony” has never been performed in Canton, and CSO and Mount Union will be joined by Grammy award-winning bass-baritone Dashon Burton and soprano Bonnie Frauenthal for this unique performance.
