Mount Union PA Class of 2024 Earns 100% Pass Rate on National Exam
October 03, 2024ALLIANCE — The August 2024 graduates of the University of Mount Union’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) Program earned an impressive 100% pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination® (PANCE).
All 38 students who graduated from the program’s most recent cohort passed the PANCE on their first attempt. Mount Union’s impressive 100% pass rate bests the five-year national first-time test taker average of 93%, as reported by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
“The program is extremely proud of the success of this class of students," said Betsy Ekey, professor and director of Mount Union's PA Program. "This demonstrates how hard the students worked and how invested the faculty is in helping them achieve this goal.”
Mount Union’s established PA program has graduated hundreds of successful physician assistants since its inception. Its students boast a 9.77 out of 10 for professionalism on their preceptor evaluations, leading to success in the field.
