PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — As part of Niche’s 2025 Best Colleges in America rankings, the University of Mount Union was named one of the best institutions in the nation for its commitment to an invaluable student experience and its strong athletic programs. 

Niche, which describes itself as the market leader in connecting colleges with students and families, states that its college rankings combine data from the U.S. Department of Education with use input such as reviews, ratings and survey responses from current students and alumni of more than 4,000 higher education institutions across the country.

Among the many notable rankings, Mount Union was ranked in the Top 5% (#72) of the country for Best College Athletics, the Top 10% (#111) of the country for Best College Campuses and the Top 15% of the country for Best College Dorms, Best College Food and Colleges with the Best Student Life. 

Along with its national rankings, Mount Union was prominently ranked in the state of Ohio as well. Niche ranked the University in the Top 10 in Ohio for Best College Athletics (#2), Best College Campuses (#7), Colleges with the Best Student Life (#8), Best College Food (#8), Best Greek Life Colleges (#8) and Best College Dorms (#9).

Niche also found Mount Union to have the Best College Athletics and Best College Campus among its peers in the Northeast Ohio region.
