Mount Union to Host US Army War College Panel January 27
January 08, 2025ALLIANCE — The University of Mount Union is pleased to once again host representatives from the United States Army War College for a panel on Monday, January 27 at 6 p.m. in the Alumni Room of the University’s Hoover-Price Campus Center.

Panelists for the event include Lt. Col. Christiana Crawford, Col. Jody Daigle and Col. Phil Thomas. Crawford is a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Operational Planner and Western Europe Foreign Area Officer. She has spent considerable time living and working in Europe where she participated in the Robert Bosch Fellowship Program and worked in the German Foreign Ministry.
Daigle has served in the U.S. Army for more than 22 years. A 2002 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he held numerous Infantry and Special Forces roles, with six combat deployments to Iraq and the Southern Philippines. His career additionally focused on the Indo-Pacific region, strengthening military capabilities through international partnerships and serving in diplomatic roles at U.S. embassies in India, China, and the Philippines.
Thomas also brings more than 20 years of experience to the panel, specifically in supply chain management and strategic planning in and out of the Army. As a National Guardsman, he has held key leadership roles including commanding more than 700 personnel in critical missions and planning operations to support national security objectives stateside and abroad. In the private sector, he has served as a strategic planner for a Fortune Global 500 company and successfully owned a small business for more than seven years.
This event is part of the War College’s Eisenhower Series College Program, which Mount Union has hosted on campus for several years. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
