Mount Union to Host Wall Street Journal Reporter, Political Experts for Conference on Biden Legacy April 10-11
March 31, 2025ALLIANCE – The University of Mount Union will host its fourth in a series of presidential legacy conferences titled “The Joe Biden Presidency: Legacy and Record” on Thursday and Friday, April 10-11 on the University’s campus.
The conference will feature a keynote address from Alexander Ward, the national security reporter for The Wall Street Journal. Ward, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, will discuss his recent book “The Internationalists: The Fight to Restore American Foreign Policy after Trump” on April 10 at 6:30 p.m. Those interested in Ward’s keynote can attend without participating in the rest of the conference.
The two-day conference is an academic, non-partisan analysis of key issues from the Biden presidency. The panels will feature journalists, strategists and political science experts from more than a dozen colleges and universities nationwide.
All panels and the keynote address are free and open to the public, but space is limited to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
The conference will also have a keynote luncheon with former U.S. Representative Tim Ryan that has a separate cost and is available to full conference registrants only.
