KENT, Ohio — Earning continued recognition since its April 2023 release, "The Fifth Star" (Kent State University Press, 2023) from Dr. Jamie Capuzza '85, professor of communication, was recently named the 2024 Senior Scholar Publication Award from the Ohio Academy of History. The book has also been named a finalist in Foreword magazine’s 2023 INDIE Awards for Women’s Studies, which will announce a winner in June 2024.
