Career Goals

I love making movies, but I enjoy watching how every form of art comes together to tell a story on film. From writing to acting to sound design, film encapsulates every art form into one unified product that transports people through an emotional journey. One goal I'd love to achieve in my career is to have the opportunity to give back in the future by helping other aspiring filmmakers find their footing in the industry to help cultivate the community of independent cinema in Ohio and beyond.

A Passion for Media

I was drawn to Mount Union's media program because it fascinated me. I specifically found my passion for the filmmaking industry through one of Dr. Adelina Cooper's classes, learning to make short films. I gained directing and production skills which solidified my love for video production and set me on the course to continue pursuing that dream.

Staying Connected to Mount Union

To this day, I keep in touch with my professor Dr. Adelina Cooper, as well as RSM advisor Lynn Riggle. Both have continued to help me throughout my career. Being a part of RSM taught me valuable leadership and collaborative skills within the environment of a production-based organization. Overall, Mount Union's media program is excellent and I could not have chosen a better place for my academic journey.
