Second Annual Mount Union Day of Giving Totals More Than $260,000
In total, the April 4 event raised $260,680 for The Mount Union Fund, which was an increase of more than $58,000 from the inaugural event in 2018. A total of 885 donors gave gifts to the fund, which supports student scholarships, technology and other critical student needs across Mount Union’s campus.
Research from UMU Students, Faculty Published in National Physics Journal
An important part of the student experience at the University of Mount Union is participating in collaborative and engaging research with faculty. Seniors Zachary Perrico ’24 and Brianna Rapp ’24 had their hard work recognized through the publication of their research in object tracking in the October 2023 edition of The Physics Teacher.
Mount Union Faculty Awarded Course Material Grants from OhioLINK
Two University of Mount Union faculty members were recently awarded the Ohio Library and Information Network (OhioLINK) Course Redesign Grants to aid in teaching with Open Education Resources (OER), which are high quality, adaptable course materials that do not cost anything for students to use.
