Hrovat ’22 Honored as Newman Civic Fellow
Campus Compact, a Boston-based non-profit organization working to advance the public purposes of higher education, has announced the 290 students who will make up the organization’s 2021-2022 cohort of Newman Civic Fellows. University of Mount Union student Allison Hrovat ‘22, a psychology and sociology double major of North Royalton, Ohio, will join 212 students from 39 states, Washington, D.C. and Mexico to form the 2021 cohort.

In an effort to continue to keep the safety of its campus community at the forefront, the University of Mount Union recently purchased 11 portable systems to disinfect campus areas using funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

FEMA, OEMA to Donate 3,000 Masks to Mount Union
As a result of efforts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Ohio Emergency Management Agency, the University of Mount Union will be receiving a donation of approximately 3,000 non-medical KN-95 masks by the end of September.
