The University of Mount Union’s direct-entry Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program was recently ranked as the best prelicensure BSN program in Ohio for 2021 by Nursing Schools Almanac.

Nursing Professor Towne Named Jonas Philanthropies Scholar for 2021-2023
University of Mount Union Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing Karen Towne, MSN, RN, APHN-BC, was accepted as a Jonas Nursing and Veterans Healthcare Scholar for the 2021-23 cohort. The $15,000 grant from Jonas Philanthropies was generously matched by the University of Kansas School of Nursing, where Towne is enrolled in the Ph.D. program.

Building on a tradition of successful nursing students, the University of Mount Union’s first cohort of students in its Second-Degree Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program achieved a 100% first-time passage rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
