Mount Union’s Russell Receives Costume Design Award
Sarah Russell, assistant professor in costuming and makeup at the University of Mount Union, was recently awarded Outstanding Achievement and Board Choice by the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) for the costume design she created for the Department of Theatre’s production of Prospero’s Magic Island during fall 2019.

The Ohio Department of Higher Education and its Chancellor, Randy Gardner, has announced that Dr. Melissa Askren-Edgehouse, associate professor and chair of the Department of Education at the University of Mount Union, has been appointed to serve on the Ohio Educator Standards Board (ESB).

Ohio Campus Compact has awarded Dr. Lori Kumler, associate professor of political science and international studies at the University of Mount Union, with the David Hoch Memorial Award for Excellence in Service.
Mount Union Dean of Students Named to Ohio College Personnel Board
John Frazier, vice president for student affairs and dean of students at the University of Mount Union, has accepted a two-year (2020-22) appointment and will serve on the Ohio College Personnel Association (OCPA) Executive Board as the Don Schweingruber Senior Student Affairs Officer.
