Teacher Education Program

Mount Union's Teacher Education Program is based on the guidelines suggested by the Ohio Department of Education and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

The University of Mount Union's Department of Performing Arts provides aspiring music and theatre professionals, as well as non-majors, the opportunity to perform with a number of ensembles in five areas: choir, orchestra, piano, band and instrumental music, and theatre.

The University of Mount Union offers a comprehensive choral music program, which is open to ALL students, not just students who major in music; we take great pride in the fact that our vocal/choral ensembles are comprised of musicians from virtually every academic discipline on campus.
