Why Mount Union's Doctor of Physical Therapy?

I chose Physical Therapy because I found it to be a great match for me and my interests. Being able to learn and utilize extensive medical knowledge to evaluate and treat patients as well as build rapport with them was very interesting to me. Often medical professionals are "in and out" but we have guaranteed time with our patients. I chose Mount Union's DPT Program because I interpreted their curriculum and teaching methods as a holistic approach. I wasn't interested in just becoming a statistic of another program but also contributing to it's development and carving my own experience, which I have had the full freedom to do here at Mount.

Mount Union DPT Impact

Impactful aspects of this program include the faculty's genuine commitment to our success. I have never experienced such humble instructors who are willing to seek and immediately implement feedback as well as acknowledge areas of improvement within themselves. They represent the desires to be lifelong learners. I love how easy the staff and faculty are to approach, it means the world to me as a learner. I have shared many laughs, frustrations, joys and even tears with some of the faculty and I am so thankful to have the freedom to share this with the faculty.
