Welcome to the Department of World Languages and Cultures!
Our department offers majors and minors in French, German, Japanese, and Spanish. Our programs are hands-on and highly experiential, preparing students for a wide array of 21st- century careers. Students have the opportunity to study abroad, work with our native Teaching Assistants, and complete global internships. Our language clubs, language tables, and film and culture festivals offer students opportunities to meet friends and improve language skills in a fun and interactive setting!
At Mount Union you can combine a language major with another major or minor, giving your degree a global, competitive edge. Languages can open many doors to personally and professionally exciting careers.
We welcome the chance to meet you. Please schedule a campus visit or virtual meeting to learn more.
Merci, Danke, Gracias, Arigato gozaimasu!
