“Chad Brady from SCHRA introduced the scholarship opportunity at our [Society for Human Resource Management] (SHRM) meeting,” said Hubbard. “Since I met the eligibility criteria, I decided to apply.”

The scholarship was awarded in early December 2024, and with this monetary award, Hubbard will finish his academic career. Hubbard aims to enhance his knowledge about the business industry, with his post-graduate goal to be a human resource coordinator in the government or hospitality industries.

“I can apply my knowledge to support the organizational success and employee development for the business I will work at,” said Hubbard. “This recognition highlights my dedication and competence in the human resources field, reinforcing my skills and commitment to excellence.”

Earning this industry scholarship will help prepare Hubbard for his professional career with confidence. Learn more about Mount Union's School of Business.
