We are pleased to welcome you to the University of Mount Union and the School of Business!
Our mission is to guide students in their journeys to become successful and responsible business professionals. We are committed to creating a student-centered learning environment that meets the needs of an increasingly diverse student body.
The School of Business offers a robust academic curriculum delivered by our team of highly qualified faculty who are dedicated to excellence in teaching, service, and discovery. Our focus, as faculty, is to integrate and deliver practical applications of business theories through independent and collaborative strategies while focusing on communication, technology, community, and global perspectives.
Our undergraduate majors in accounting, finance, human resources management, management, marketing, and public relations have internationally recognized credentials from the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Additionally, the school houses a nationally recognized, Commission on Sport Management (COSMA) accredited sport business program. Our accreditations ensure that our curricula offerings maintain standards of academic distinction. Minors offered in the School of Business serve the entire University community, and include accounting, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, leadership, and sport business.
Our online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program cultivates and refines analytical and leadership skills by offering concentrations in Leadership and Innovation and Business Analytics. Two additional programs in Healthcare Administration and Business Communication and Public Relations are pending final approval and we anticipate offerings to begin in spring of 2024.
