Each year, mechanical engineering students design and build an all-terrain vehicle from the ground up and participate in an inter-university competition at the conclusion of the academic year. The goal of the project is to design a vehicle that will endure even the harshest elements of rough terrain. Students participate in a number of vehicular static and dynamic events during the competition. The project allows students to apply what they learned in all previous courses in the major.
